By using the core switch and integrated gateway of Smart Optics, while meeting the increasing demand for hotel business and ensuring high-speed network transmission, a comprehensive access gateway is also configured to be compatible with multiple access methods, making it convenient for the hotel manager to manage and monitor. It is also configured in various areas of the hotel.

However, in practical use, when using 2.4G WiFi to connect to Xiaodu, disconnection or inability to connect often occurs, while 5G public WiFi and wired networks do not have this problem.

In order to investigate the problem, under the guidance of the hotel staff, Smart Lite On started from the hotel's data center and carried out the investigation one by one. Finally, it was found that the length of the network cable was less than 1 meter, and the topology of the entire network was vlan1, which may cause insufficient coverage of 2.4G WiFi signals, resulting in unstable connections.

So, in order to solve the problems mentioned above, Smart Lite On increased the coverage range of 2.4G WiFi signals and divided the network into four VLANs, namely VLAN1: device management, VLAN10: wired network, VLAN20:2.4g WiFi (hidden), and VLAN30:5g public WiFi. This can better manage the network and improve network security.

In addition, in order to better ensure the cleanliness of the internal network, Smart Accent has chosen to remove other network nodes. The original plan for the surveillance camera network was to only follow a branch line from the core to enable viewing of surveillance camera videos on mobile apps.

However, it was found that the surveillance cameras were set with static IP addresses and network conflicts. After removing the monitoring network mainline, the problem was resolved. Furthermore, better optimization and adjustment will be made for external and wireless channels.
