Shengdu Home Decoration is a professional interior design, budgeting, construction, and material supply decoration company. After determining the location of the branch in Dongguan, it went through a series of stages including site selection, construction, and completion. During this process, the person in charge of the store invested a lot of effort in decorating the store and setting up the network.

Since July 2021, Beike announced the acquisition of Shengdu Home Decoration, relying on Beike's huge customer flow pool. As of the end of 2021, Shengdu Home Decoration has expanded to 46 cities across the country, with over 140 branch offices.

In this expansion plan, Dongguan, as the first prefecture level city to enter Shengdu Home Furnishings, successfully opened a new store with three floors and a total area of nearly 6000 square meters. The store is equipped with five themed exhibition halls: home decoration main and auxiliary material display area, customized furniture display area, fashionable soft decoration model room, craft display area, and home appliance new retail experience hall.

With the help of the "POL System Design and Deployment Requirements" solution promoted by Smart Accent, the network cabling for the weak current room on the floor, the equipment room in the store, and the exhibition hall were cleverly planned.

This plan greatly reduces the complexity of cables and achieves more efficient cooperation. At the same time, we also chose the network support of Smart Accent and our self-developed hardware and software equipment, making full preparations for operation.

Since the official launch of the Shengdu home decoration store,

The external broadband of the store is only open to 2000M 10G, while EPON optical modem requires 2.5G network port equipment to fully play its role, so it can only use 1000M and cannot fully utilize the bandwidth;

The VPN on the internal LAN cannot be used properly;

In order to address these issues, the technical staff of Smart Accent will take the following measures to improve the network performance and stability of the store:

Upgrade network equipment

In order to fully utilize the 2000M broadband, technicians will upgrade EPON optical modem to ensure the use of 2.5G network port devices, thereby maximizing the full bandwidth.

Fix internal VPN issues

Technicians will proactively contact and coordinate with the VPN technicians at the store to assist them in acquiring domain names for the internal network, thereby fixing the issue of the internal VPN not functioning properly.

Revamp the affected AP lines

Technicians will mark the affected AP lines in the computer room and contact the person in charge of the store and the construction party for renovation and optimization to improve the speed and stability of the lines.
