Gathering at Chengdu Universiade Village - Only for Creating a Warm Relay Station

Chengdu Universiade Village - as the most highly anticipated living home for over 11000 delegation members from around the world, located on the campus of Chengdu University, opened on July 22 and closed on August 11.

During this period, 24-hour support services will be provided for athletes and team officials. There are 10 apartments in the village, all of which are renovated student dormitories of Chengdu University, with a total of 6522 rooms.

At the same time, there are 2 athlete restaurants and many service guarantee facilities, including delegation service center, medical center, administrative guarantee center, fitness center, basketball training hall, swimming pool, etc.

Before the official opening of the project, in order to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the Universiade Village within 24 hours, the organizing committee dispatched various event alliance suppliers to the site to inspect the operation, management, service, and guarantee of various infrastructure.

Behind the scenes efforts to ensure smooth operation

During the competition, in order to ensure that athletes can watch live TV channels in a timely manner and avoid using traditional network set-top boxes, the local organizing committee decided to cooperate with China Mobile to open an interactive TV system and register the TV channels in the athletes' rooms.

As a partner of China Mobile, Smart Guangxun quickly took action after receiving the notice from the organizing committee on July 9th, dispatched technical personnel, and gathered a set of related audio and video intelligent scheduling systems and other related equipment to the project site.

1. System debugging

Firstly, technicians upgrade the original configuration system of the television on site to ensure that it can smoothly receive the program sources and interactive television resources provided by the audio and video scheduling.

Next, we need to build a corresponding testing plan to verify the system's defects and functionality. The testing includes checking the collection effect of audio and video program sources, the stability of equipment, the reliability of program output up to the intranet, and other aspects. Through testing, it is ensured that the system can work as scheduled in practical applications.

3. Ensure operation and maintenance

Through this project, the team members of Smart Accent provided high-quality technical support and intelligent software and hardware equipment for China Mobile, especially the technical personnel who insisted on staying in front of the data center 24 hours a day to ensure system operation.
