project background

The project is located in Zhongluotan, Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, covering an area of 500 acres. It is a multifunctional scenic spot integrating conference, training, vacation, recuperation, dining, leisure and recreation. Based on the operation and management model of hotels and resorts, the scenic area has the ability to accommodate thousands of people at the same time. For example, the number of guest rooms can accommodate 1500 people at the same time, the restaurant can accommodate 2600 people for dining, and the conference room can accommodate 1200 people. Whether attending conferences, conducting training, or vacationing, this scenic area can provide comprehensive comfortable accommodation, exquisite catering, and professional conference facilities.

The scenic area has been in operation since 2010 and adopts the traditional "fiber optic three network integration solution" as the network design. However, with the rapid development of 5G and the Internet of Things, the demand for digitalization in various industries is constantly increasing, which makes it difficult for scenic spots to meet consumers' expectations for personalized needs during operation.

For example, the smart screens used in guest rooms not only have a small number of channels, but also suffer from screen flickering and lagging issues. The telephone adopts the traditional large logarithmic cable program-controlled telephone method, but due to severe aging of the lines, some telephone lines cannot be unobstructed. More importantly, in recent years, the pedestrian traffic in scenic areas has been continuously increasing, and the existing WiFi network originally used the method of operator three network fusion for guest room coverage and self built public area network coverage, which cannot meet the needs of guests for automatic roaming in different scenarios. This also requires guests to manually switch between different WiFi connections.

In order to address these issues, Smart Accent has engaged in in-depth cooperation with scenic area managers, proposing solutions such as introducing new technologies and systems, improving telephone systems, and upgrading hotel WiFi to meet personalized consumer needs.

Program value

This solution abandons the traditional one business one line cabling method and achieves full integration by using a single fiber optic cable in combination with multiple business core switches (with PON cards), audio and video voice, broadcasting systems, monitoring optical transmission, and full scene indoor, high-density, and outdoor WIFI coverage without dead corners. It solves problems such as smart screens, telephones, WiFi internet access in scenic areas. In this way, a room can support the needs of multiple businesses and greatly save wiring costs.
