As a gathering place for logistics operations and a connecting point for various transportation modes, logistics parks play a crucial role. It brings together various logistics facilities and enterprises, placing higher demands on its operational efficiency and service quality. In order to achieve efficient logistics resource management and scheduling, integrated operation has become an important strategy for the development of logistics parks. Since its establishment in 2017, Xiantao Bonded Zone Logistics Center has been committed to creating such an integrated strategic highland.

This year, the Xiantao Comprehensive Bonded Zone Logistics Center launched the construction of a living supporting area, which injected new development vitality into the region. With the construction in full swing, the six main buildings have been successfully topped out, which will together form a fully functional living area, including office areas, comprehensive service facilities, hotels, accommodation, and dining venues. In addition to the construction of the main building, the project leader also pays special attention to the network quality of the accommodation environment. After in-depth investigation, they found that in many large parks, the operation mode of dormitory networks is to cooperate with operators separately to handle independent broadband in each place. This not only fails to meet the customized needs of users, but may also lead to problems such as incomplete network coverage and unstable speed.

In order to meet the needs of optimizing the network in the accommodation area and provide users with more convenient and efficient services, the project team has decided to comprehensively upgrade the network in the accommodation area. They hope to achieve comprehensive coverage of various dormitory management work through intelligent means and provide users with multiple personalized management functions. To this end, they actively seek an efficient and reliable provider of converged communication solutions, and hope to build a flexible and reliable network infrastructure through them to provide users with more convenient and efficient services.

To this end, the project leader took the initiative to contact the team members of Smart Guangxun and hoped to cooperate with them to jointly provide high-quality network communication services for users in Xiantao Comprehensive Bonded Zone.

Project requirements

After careful consideration, Smart Guangxun and the project team have conducted in-depth discussions on the network issues of the dormitory building in the Xiantao Bonded Logistics Living Supporting Zone, and have reached consensus on the following key requirements:

Seamless WIFI roaming: The wireless network in the dormitory building should provide a unified WiFi name, so that users can automatically and smoothly switch to the hotspot with the best signal when moving inside the building, ensuring the continuity and stability of the network connection.

Portal authentication solution: Portal authentication is a method of identity verification for users when accessing the internet, which requires users to enter their username and password for verification through pop ups and other means.

Support for security verification access: Considering the requirements of the public security network supervision department for real name internet access, Smart Phone needs to solve the problem of existing operator solutions being unable to achieve security verification integration, ensuring that when WiFi can be connected to the internet in the dormitory area at any time, real name authentication can be carried out, and the internet data can be seamlessly integrated with the network supervision department.

Access to monitoring and access control intranet: In order to meet the dual needs of security and management, intelligent optical communication needs to solve the problem of high network construction costs caused by the traditional FTTH solution adopted by existing operators, which makes each dormitory an independent LAN. A unified LAN is needed to ensure smooth access of monitoring and access control systems.

Unified device management: In order to improve the operational efficiency and management level of network devices, Smart Optical needs to provide a remote management platform that supports real-time monitoring of device operation status, fault diagnosis, software upgrades, and other functions to enhance operational efficiency and response speed.

By meeting the above needs, Smart Guangxun and the project team will work together to create an efficient, secure, and convenient dormitory network environment, providing excellent network experience for users in the Xiantao Bonded Logistics Living Supporting Zone.

Regarding the issue of security access: In order to meet the requirements of the public security network supervision department for real name internet access and solve the security review problems of dormitory building users, smart optical routing devices have been connected to most regional public security platforms across the country, in compliance with the network information security monitoring access issued by the Ministry of Public Security's Public Security Order No. 82. In this way, users' internet data will be pushed to the network supervision department, providing users with a more secure and compliant network environment.

Monitoring the access to the internal network and access control internal network: By combining the complete set of network equipment from Smart Accent, including converged router AC1000+core switch ZH-CS8503E, aggregation switch ZH-CS5528X, access switch ZH-CS5228P, terminal panel AP ZH-AP1300P, and ceiling mounted AP ZH-1300S, a local area network has been successfully established within the area. The access control system and monitoring system have been uniformly connected and isolated through different VLANs, achieving unified control of monitoring and access control without affecting internet access.

Unified management of devices: In order to improve operational efficiency and reduce maintenance costs, Smart Lite On has achieved unified management of all devices through the EAAS cloud platform. This measure solves the problem of inability to quickly diagnose and remotely maintain equipment failures, greatly reducing the cost of on-site personnel inspection and maintenance. Through the intelligent monitoring and diagnostic functions of cloud platforms, it is possible to quickly determine the operating status of devices and promptly solve potential problems.
