PON all-optical network project of Hunan Botanical Garden
The Hunan Botanical Garden is located at No. 111, Botanical Garden Road, Yuhua District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. The garden is equipped with educational offices, office buildings, multiple shops, supermarkets, and campsites. With the continuous expansion of botanical garden business and the increasing demand for network from tourists and staff, the existing network system has gradually exposed many problems, making it difficult to meet the needs of daily office work, tourist services, and intelligent management of the park.
01 Project Background
At present, the network infrastructure in the park is aging and the network bandwidth is limited. During peak tourist periods, network congestion is severe, which affects the online experience of tourists and the normal operation of various business systems in the park. The network connection between various buildings is unstable, with many signal blind spots, and the efficiency of internal network office is low. The network switching in different areas is intermittent, making it impossible to achieve unified Wi Fi zero roaming, which seriously restricts the overall operational efficiency and service quality improvement of the botanical garden.
02 Questions/Demands
01 Internal network office issues
The internal network data transmission speed between various departments in the park is slow, and file sharing, office software collaboration, and other operations often experience lag, seriously affecting work efficiency. It is necessary to build a high-speed and stable internal network office environment to meet the rapid transmission and processing needs of large amounts of data in daily office work.
02 Service response timeliness
Under the current network architecture, troubleshooting and repairing network faults takes a long time. Once a network problem occurs, it is difficult for technical personnel to quickly locate and solve it, resulting in a long interruption of various business services in the park, which affects the visitor experience and normal operation order. Therefore, the new network solution needs to have efficient fault detection and rapid response mechanisms to ensure the timeliness and stability of network services.
03 Unified Wi Fi Zero Roaming
During the movement of tourists within the park, Wi Fi signal switching is frequent and unstable, resulting in interruption or deterioration of internet experience. To enhance tourist satisfaction, it is necessary to implement a unified Wi Fi seamless roaming function throughout the entire botanical garden, allowing visitors to freely move around different areas while maintaining smooth and stable network connectivity, and enjoying uninterrupted network services.
