01 Product Introduction

The appearance and shape of the VOLT optical module are slightly larger than ordinary SFP optical modules, and it adopts the standard GPON protocol. It can register ONU or optical AP based on GPON protocol. In order to apply to various complex scenarios, this optical module does not require manual data configuration, and its main feature is a plug and play, automatic registration.

02 Product Classification

VOLT optical modules currently offer two specifications to meet different needs.

ZH-VOLT 16 supports the standard GPON protocol and can connect up to 16 ONUs or optical APs, providing users with stable and high-speed data transmission services in relatively small network environments. For example, small offices or small commercial environments can be easily handled.

ZH-VOLT 32 also supports GPON protocol and can connect up to 32 ONUs or optical APs, which has increased the number of connected devices. For some larger commercial venues, such as medium-sized shops, small business office areas, etc., ensure the smooth operation of the network and guarantee the smooth development of business.

03 Function Introduction

Function 1: Switch/Router Instant OLT: After connecting the VOLT optical module to a router or switch with an optical port, this optical port can be turned into an OLT without complex operations, plug and play. After connecting to the VOLT module, connect to the splitter and cascade it to the ONU or optical AP of the terminal to complete the network setup in small scenarios.

Function 2: Automatic Registration Function: VOLT also has an automatic registration function. In many all-optical network deployments, multiple device registration and data configuration issues are often required. The automatic registration function can quickly and accurately register ONUs or optical APs into the network, saving a lot of manpower and time costs.

Function 3: Standard GPON: VOLT All models support the standard GPON protocol, with an uplink speed of up to 1.25G and a downlink speed of up to 2.5G. The supported transmission distance can reach 20 kilometers, meeting users' needs for high-speed data transmission.

Function 4: Data Transparent Transmission: VOLT has built-in data that allows all data to be transmitted, truly achieving plug and play functionality. It starts running with zero configuration, maximizes road width, bridges, and minimizes configuration. Satisfy smooth network operation for multiple applications and scenarios.

04 IP&PON all-optical networking
